LT -> Vasaros pabaigoje į mus kreipėsi Host1Plus kompanija, pasiūliusi partnerystę svetainių saugojimo srityje. Kompanija gyrėsi turinti savo duomenų centrus Lietuvoje, Vokietijoje, Olandijoje, Didžiojoje Britanijoje, JAV ir Singapūre, todėl nusprendėme išmėginti jų paslaugas pradėdami nuo paprasto, pelno nesiekiančio projekto. Mūsų mėginimas baigėsi gana liūdnai. Rugsėjo pabaigoje puslapis dvi dienas buvo nepasiekiamas, o vėliau gavome tokio turinio el. laišką:

Laimei backup’ą turėjome mes, tad po papildomų 8h darbo projektą pavyko atgaivinti jau kitame, Host1Plus nepriklausančiame serveryje. Taigi jei ir Jūs susidomėsite šiuo tiekėju, mes siūlome labai rimtai pagalvoti.

Company boasted of its data centers in Lithuania, Germany, Holland, Great Britain, USA and Singapore and we decided to try their services starting with a simple, non-profit project. Our attempt ended rather sadly. In late September the page was unavailable for two days and then we have reached e-mail:

Fortunately we had a backup and after 8h of extra work the project restarted in the other company server. We DO NOT recommend Host1Plus.
Na nežinau, savaime aišku, kad reikia turėti savo backupa, visiem pasitaiko gi problemų ir nesi garantuotas ar kitur nepasikartos tai.Dėl host1plus, tai pats pastaruoju metu turiu biški problemų, serveris perkrautas, laga ima sakė iki kitos savaitės sutvarkys bet va jau pirmadienis ne ką geriau, nzn gal tik laikini sutrikimai, negerės persikelsiu kitur

Sutinku su tavim Tomai, kad reikia tureti savo backupa. Mes ji turejome ir sugebejome projekta atstatyti. Bet man is sios istorijos persasi viena mintis – chebra nesumokejo USA duomenu centrui ir juos atjunge. Maza to Host1 spjove ant klientu ir nusprende tu skolu nemoketi, nes tik taip galiu paaiskinti duomenu centro sprendima neatiduoti serveryje laikytu duomenu. Zinant, kad Host1 yra Lietuvisko kapitaloo kompanija pilnai tikiu, kad su verslo etika jiem ne pakeliui.

These people are facing many problems. They have made a lot of promisses which they DO NOT keep. I cannot recommend these people to anyone. They want to make money fast and easy, but it is never going to work. You cannot trust them at all.

As manau kad uz skolas duomenu centras tik isjungia serverius, o duomenu tikrai nenaikina. Man atrodo kad cia buvo kaskokie teisiniai sumetimai, gal spamas, gal dar kasnors.
